San Marcos Growers Introduction Program
We at San Marcos Growers are always on the lookout for great new plants. Some of our new plant introductions have appeared as spontaneous seedling hybrids or vegetative sports while others have been selected from seedling blocks in our nursery our elsewhere. We have also been given plants by gardeners and friends that upon evaluation were considered worthy of a cultivar designation. In addition to the list below, which we consider our own plant introductions, we have popularized and introduced many other new plants into the California nursery trade that we received from other nurseries or seed sources worldwide. We thank many of these people on our Nurseries and Individuals plant introduction page. We list the 2009 additions on our New Plant Page.
